Ördögbőr grófja - Illustration

I worked on a reimagined version of Zsolt Adamik’s Ördögbőr grófja – Rettentő kalózmesék (The Count of Devilskin – Terrifying Pirate Tales), a fantastic book originally illustrated by Ilka Mészely. The new, shorter episodes were published online in the cultural magazine Óbudai Anziksz on a biweekly basis. Ilka has long been a personal role model for me, so working on this story was both inspiring and intimidating. Zsolt Adamik’s brilliant use of language presented an exciting challenge, even though by that time I had already illustrated several other books.
