Hi! I'm glad you're here!

I’m Tamás Mayer, a guy who spends way too much time doodling strange creatures and figuring out how to make them move.

Officially, I’m a graphic designer and animation artist… but unofficially, I’m just someone who can’t stop creating. Over the years I’ve been an animator at a software company, a character and background designer at a film studio, and the one who takes ideas that only exist in someone’s head – and turns them into something real.

Since 2017, I’ve been working as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. I’ve illustrated children’s books for Hungarian and international publishers, and some of my drawings have even ended up on card games (yes, it’s as fun as it sounds). I’ve also designed logos for startups and bands, brochures for a cattle company (long story), cover art for music labels, visuals for a coaching school, branding for a psychology center, and animations for an architecture studio. Basically – if it’s creative, I’m in.

My motto:

I don’t know everything – but if I want something badly enough, I’ll find a way to figure it out.

What I do most:

Illustration, background and character design, animation, game design, and graphic design.

What I can also do without breaking a sweat:

Video editing, preparing print materials.

Since October 2024, I’ve been living in Iceland, spending most of my free time outdoors – hiking, filming, and running through the incredible landscapes. On cold winter evenings, you’ll usually find me watching films, reading a good book, and sipping tea under a wool blanket while listening to Ólafur Arnalds.
